We loved our stay at Summit lodge! The staff were friendly and efficient, rooms were clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable, and there were so many aspects that made the stay easy and enjoyable. The rooms had recycling bins for all recyclables which so many hotels don't have. The fire was amazing to sit and look at whilst winding down of an evening - even if it was not set to heat. The robes were out of this world cosy! and little aspects like the rubber duck in the bath tub and the free candy bar at reception in the evenings were great for both little and big kids! The location was easy to get everywhere but far enough away from the bars etc to be quiet.

Great location, near all the shops, restaurants etc but not right by anywhere noisy. Really beautiful room, very spacious and a lovely view over the pool and trees at the back of the hotel. We loved coming out the front door and seeing the mountains so close by. Service was great, the pool and hot tub were a lovely place to relax and nice and warm. Parking was easy and staff were very helpful. The laundry room was really useful. We didn’t know the area before we arrived but we felt like the hotel was in the best location for us and we would love to visit again, it was a great experience.

Great value and an excellent location; some other lodges have bars or restaurants nearby playing music quite loud on outdoor terraces, so we were pleased that Summit Lodge was just off the main square and very peaceful yet close to the village's facilities. Our room was spacious and comfortable with kitchenette facilities for simple meals. The little balcony was just large enough for two chairs and had a view over the rooftops to the mountains beyond, and the communal terrace by the pool was also pleasant, edged by trees and hardly like being in town.

Kitchenette had everything we needed and toiletries were good quality. Definitely appreciated that we were mere steps from the popular side of the village yet the hotel street was nice and quiet. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and underground parking was a plus! Didn't use the pool or hot tub, so can't comment, but from what I could see they were quite small.

Our room was spacious with a couch and a fireplace, giving it a very homey vibe. We were able to use the spa and sauna, which really took the edge off the cold weather. There were even snow-shoeing equipments available for guests so we were able to make the most of our stay there.
